Lessons

I take a wholistic approach to teaching music, incorporating music theory, ear training, healthy physical technique, improvisation and site-reading.   Lessons are tailored to each individual student, incorporating a diverse mix of classical and contemporary repertoire and a practice plan that addresses each student's unique needs and musical goals.  Drawing upon eleven years of teaching experience and years of performing professionally in music and theater, I encourage students to take creative risks, to be expressive in their playing, and above all, to make music joyfully! All students have the opportunity to share their progress with family and friends during semi-annual recitals.
